Rule Of Thirds

In this assignment we were tasked with utalizing the rule of thirds in our photos. The rule of thirds requires composure of visual images utalizing a grid and dividing an images into nine equal parts.

This was the first photo for this assignment I felt the tilt of the sign and the bike rider to the left created a very interesting triangle shape. Overall for the assignment I feel this did not adheire very well due to the path way attracting the eye towards the center but the image overall has a nice movement to it.

In this second image I really liked the look from behind the fence. The potato chipbag, child, and shoes also created a almost triangle like shape simlar to the last image. I really like how the eye moves in a circle through the objects and the image never dulls. The blurry backgroung and clear foreground also create visual intrest in the image.

In this final image the flashing sign really grabs our attention, the image is also very intrestingly sepreated in parts by the streetlight and ending of the building. Scale also plays an important role within the image and creates space within the image.
