This was our first assignment for the course the project was to utalize photographs we'd taken and adhere to the rule of thirds. The rule of thirds is a guideline which applies to the process of composing visual images this was the outcome.

9x9 Grids

This was I first grid I created I organized the images by shape. The top row consists of flat and rectangular shapes, the second row is made up of circles, and the last row consists of fences.

This was my second attempt at the 9x9 grid my skills improved and I was given the suggestion to change the saturation of the pumkin in the center to attract the eye. I organized these images by corner. The outer corners consist of muted colors while the inner corners contain lush greenery and the center a bright orange.

This was my final attempt here I used a scene from a playground. I connected the poles from the swingset in an attempt to create movement in the image and construct a new shape. Here I feel the idea was more successful then the actual image but the growth is apparent.
